We use advanced techniques and personalized care to ensure your pet's comfort and well-being.

Ensuring your pet is in trusted hands during surgery gives you a deeper sense of peace. Our veterinary team has the necessary training as well as years of experience to make sure your pet has a safe and effective procedure. We have a large surgical suite onsite with all the tools and technologies we need to give your pet the best experience possible.

What happens during surgery?

Before your pet’s surgery, we’ll walk you through the procedure and answer any questions. We do bloodwork before to ensure your pet’s internal organs are working well and there aren’t any foreseeable complications. Once we’ve determined it’s safe to move ahead with the procedure, we’ll schedule the appointment and share any preparations you need to take before you bring your pet. This may include gentle fasting up to 12 hours before. Our team of veterinarians and registered veterinary technicians will monitor your pet throughout the procedure to ensure it is going well.

Is anesthesia safe?

We take a range of precautions to ensure your pet will respond well to the medication. We complete bloodwork beforehand to ensure your pet’s body won’t have any negative reactions once we administer the medication. During the procedure, we closely monitor your pet’s vitals to ensure there are no sudden changes. If changes arise, we’re able to respond quickly.

How do I take care of my pet post-surgery?

Post-operative care is vital to your pet’s recovery. Our veterinary team will provide you with specific instructions on how to care for your pet, including going over their pain management plan. Giving your pet their medication as prescribed ensures they’ll experience as little discomfort as possible. Their surgical wounds should also be checked regularly for any sign of infection.
